Description:
Abstract: Regulatory wetlands as depicted on maps pursuant to Article 24 of the Environmental conservation law. Data set includes in-Park portions of Clinton, Essex, Hamilton, Lewis, Oneida, and Warren counties.
Purpose: The wetlands database is part of a larger database designed to help evaluate wetlands as well as watershed/wetland realtionships.
Supplemental_Information: Mapping methodology and attribution differs from NYS DEC wetlands data outside the Park. These data should not be used to determine actual placement of official regulatory wetlands. For legal determinations of wetland boundaries, contact the Adirondack Park Agency. In addition, the intended working map scale of these data is 1:24,000 or one inch equals two thousand feet.
